※ Visitors with a foreign student I.D. card can enter at a reduced admission charge (discount) if they present that I.D. on entrance to the museum.

For groups of 30 people or more, the group leader (1 person per 30 people) will be admitted free of charge.
This facility is a branch museum of the Senday City Tomizawa Site Museum. There is a joint admission pass allowing entry into both at a discount.
Other individuals and groups may be entitled to a reduced admission charge or exemption, so please inquire for details.

9.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.

※ Admission until 4.15 p.m. Workshop reception hours are 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Coming by bus… Miyagi Kotsu bus - Get off at the ‘Yamada Taihaku Shobosho-mae’ bus stop, then walk for 5 minutes. Take the bus bound for "Minami New Town", "Nihondaira", "Moniwadai" and "Akiu"

Coming by car

From Tokyo / Aomori
Take the Tohoku expressway and exit at "Sendai-minami interchange". Then take Route 286 and head in the direction towards central Sendai for approximately 4km.
※ If you transfer to the Sendai Nanbu toll road from the Tohoku expressway, you will not be able to join a public highway from the "Yamada interchange".
From Ishinomaki / Iwanuma
Take the Sendai Nanbu toll road and exit at "Yamada interchange". Then take Route 286 and head in the direction towards central Sendai for approximately 1km.
※ If you transfer to the Tohoku expressway from the Sendai Nanbu toll road, you will not be able to join a public highway from the "Sendai-minami interchange".
